 Brunei started the transition to polymer banknotes with the introduction of a new 1 Ringgit note in 1996 and higher denominations were added to this series in subsequent years. This trio of notes comprises the 1 Ringgit dated 1996, the 5 Ringgit dated 2002 and the 10 Ringgit dated 1998 all in UNC condition. Catalogue references P22 to P24. The notes feature the Sultan of Brunei on the front and make much of the local flora with pictures of plants such as the Pitcher plant and the Forest Yam. The reverse of each note depicts Brunei's tropical rainforest. Reference: BRUNEI 001. Price £18.00
