The Southeast Asian country of Burma (now called Myanmar) was occupied by the Japanese in 1942 and this set of notes was issued by the Japanese government during that period.
The set comprises:-
Pick ref. 13b, 1/2 Rupee, 1942.
Pick ref. 14b, 1 Rupee, 1942.
Pick ref. 15b, 5 Rupees, 1942-44.
Pick ref. 16b, 10 Rupees, 1942-44.
The notes are all in uncirculated condition.

BURMA 1958 ISSUED NOTES

This attractive and colourful selection of notes from Burma make a great addition to any collection. Issued by The Union Bank of Burma in 1958, these notes were produced in stapled blocks of 100, so unavoidably have staple holes in the left hand side.

Pick ref. 47a, 5 Kyats, 1958.
Pick ref. 48a, 10 Kyats, 1958.
Pick ref. 51a, 100 Kyats, 1958.
