The six notes in this set were used in Hungary immediately after the second World War in 1945 and 1946 when the country was going through a period of massive inflation.

The Pick catalogue references and values of the six notes are as follows:
P120, 100,000 Pengo dated 1945
P122, 1,000,000 Pengo dated 1945
P123, 10,000,000 Pengo dated 1945
P124, 100,000,000 Pengo dated 1946
P125, 1 Milliard Pengo dated 1946 (= 1,000,000,000 Pengo)
P127, 100,000 Milpengo dated 1946 (= 100,000,000,000 Pengo)

The notes have been in circulation but are in good collectable condition, averaging VF ( Very Fine )
