![]() The small island of Jersey in the Channel Islands has not issued many commemorative banknotes, but in recent years there have been two different £1 notes issued to commemorate important events in the Island’s history. The first of these appeared in May 1995 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Jersey from German occupation at the end of WWII. The second was in 2004 and marked the 800th anniversary of the relationship between Jersey and the British Crown 1204 – 2004. These two notes are no longer generally available, but we have managed to assemble a quantity which we can offer together with a regular issue £1 to make a nice set of three notes. The notes are all in uncirculated condition. Reference: JERSEY 001 Price: £9.50
