 The Republic of Liberia is located on the west coast of Africa between Sierra Leone and the Ivory coast. It was Africa’s first republic, and U.S. dollars were used up until 1989 when a distinctive Liberian currency was introduced. The three notes in this set were all issued by the Central Bank of Liberia, established in 1999: Pick ref. 26 (5 Dollars 2003), 27 (10 Dollars 2003), 28 (20 Dollars 2003).They are all in mint condition.
