The Republic of Turkmenistan declared its independence following the break up of the USSR in 1991. The first paper money was subsequently issued by the Central Bank of Turkmenistan in 1993, and here are some of the early issues.

The set comprises the 5 and 10 Manat of 1993 as well as the 20, 50 and 100 Manat dated 1995. All are in uncirculated condition.
