The 5 Roubles used the same plates as the earlier Tsarist issue dated 1909 but had just series numbers rather than a full serial number. The higher denominations of 250 and 1000 Roubles were of a new design. The notes were quickly replaced in 1918 by a new series of State Treasury notes and were soon withdrawn from circulation. The notes in this set are in VF to good VF condition. Reference: RUSSIA 003 Price: £4.00. |
